Bobby Jones Links is excited to announce the appointment of Allyson Darling to the role of General Manager at Mixson Club. Darling previously served as the club’s Membership Director.

As a Charleston native, Darling holds deep understanding of the various communities that make up the vibrant Charleston dining and social scene. In addition to a genuine passion for club business, Darling brings to her new role a well-rounded understanding of club operations, hospitality and sales. After graduation from Johnson & Wales University, Darling spent five years with The Golf Club at Briars Creek as a Clubhouse Manager. Darling later held the title Director of Sales and Catering at Tristan Restaurant, formerly located in downtown Charleston. Darling has also held various sales positions with Hilton Worldwide while owning and operating her own event support business. In 2016 Darling was brought on to the Mixson Club team as Membership Director.

“I am honored to be taking this next step with Mixson Club,” said General Manager Allyson Darling. “I first came to Mixson Club out of a desire to return to my club business roots. I am membership focused and look forward to continuing to enhance member experience and growing the Mixson Club community.”

As Membership Director, Darling served as the main point of contact for member communication. She also managed member relations, new member recruitment and community outreach, as well as the planning and execution of large member events. Additionally, Darling worked to better the wellness program and family-friendly offerings at Mixson Club.
