Mike Wooditch Named Merchandiser Of The Year By Georgia PGA

The Merchandiser of the Year Award recognizes those PGA professionals who have excelled as business person/merchandisers in the promotion of golf. The Georgia PGA honors professionals in three categories: private, public and resort. This year the winner in the PUBLIC category is Mike Wooditch of Cobblestone Golf Course.

"As we all know golf professionals get pulled in many directions trying to wear many hats," said Bobby Jones Links Founding Partner, Steve Willy. "It takes a special person to put in the time and effort needed to operate a successful retail business in the golf shop.  Mike has been doing an exceptional job at Cobblestone for many years. This award was well deserved."

Mike is a Quarter Century Member of the PGA of America and has been teaching the game of golf for over 40 years.
