Cobblestone Park Golf Club in Blythewood will be hosting the 2021 SC Women’s open Aug. 12 through 15. Other events and programming will be presented along with the tournament including a Summer Jam Party lineup, silent auctions, awards, prizes, and more.
The annual Women’s Open by the WSCGA will have four divisions: open amateur (49 and under), open professional (44 and under), senior amateur (50 and over), and senior professional (45 and over). The seniors will play two days (Aug. 13 and 14), while the open division will play three days (Aug. 13 and 15), and the pro- am on Aug. 12.
Tee times will start at 8 a.m. each day, with the seniors first on Friday and Saturday afternoon. The pro-am will be played on the championship course with each team comprising four amateurs and one professional. The event is an Official Legends Tour points event with 40 Legends players in the field.
The professional divisions will be playing for a $20,000 purse and amateur divisions for prizes. Spectators are welcome with free admission.
Entry fee begins at $600 per team ($150 per person) for amateurs, which allows entry to the LPGA Clinic, gift tee, box lunch, reception with hor d’oeurves, prizes, silent auction and live entertainment by Keith Burns.
Entry deadline is July 30.
There will be approximately 100 players in the field including Legends Tour Hall of Fame superstar Rosie Jones, seven-time LPGA Tour Champion Tammie Green, WSCGA & CGA Senior Player of the Year Jayne Pardus, and the junior phenom Savannah Hylton.
