World No. 1 Open Division Long Driver Kyle Berkshire to Swing with Media in Anticipation of First-Ever Atlanta Competition  

The countdown is on for Atlanta’s showcase of the longest hitters in the world, as world No. 1 Open Division World Long Drive (WLD) competitor and two-time world champion Kyle Berkshire will join GF Sports & Entertainment and Bobby Jones Golf Course executives on Thursday, Sept. 21, for the official news conference ahead of the WLD Championship presented by Club Champion.

In addition to Berkshire, GF Sports & Entertainment Vice President of Business Zane Smith and Vice President of Marketing & Revenue Strategy Justine Pletnick will be on-site with Bobby Jones Golf Course General Manager Joshua Deal for the media availability. Berkshire will also illustrate the art of long drive by teeing up and hitting a few balls on the grid and inviting media to hit alongside him.

Tickets are now on-sale for the four-day WLD Championship presented by Club Champion. The final event of 2023, fans can expect fierce competition and 400-yard drives all weekend long. It will be broadcast internationally on GOLF

Channel on Oct. 22 at 8:30pm ET and feature the Open, Women’s, and Senior Divisions.
